The Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education (SARE) program helps advance farming systems that are profitable, environmentally sound and good for communities through a nationwide research and education grants program. The program, part of USDA's Cooperative State Research, Education, and Extension Service, funds projects and conducts outreach designed to improve agricultural systems.
S2N Media worked with SARE staff to clarify SARE’s core web audiences, core web mission, and the core tasks visitors need to accomplish on the sare.org website. Our team reviewed the SARE website in detail, evaluated web statistics, and developed a new architecture to increase usability and improve navigation. We then created a rich, elegant, efficient design for the site, and developed templates along with graphic guidelines documentation to enable SARE to maintain the site after delivery.
