The S2N Media team has developed a unique, long-term working relationship with curators, scientists and museum experts at the Arctic Studies Center of the Smithsonian Institution. The result is an award-winning Web presence and educational experience that is informative, entertaining and enlightening. Exhibit artifacts, catalogs, scholarly articles, rare video footage and audio clips provide the raw materials which inspire the creation of concept and content, overall design, and 3D virtual components for the ASC virtual experience. The site integrates the museum’s Arctic Wildlife Portfolio, an encyclopedic resource of knowledge and insight into arctic wildlife written by learned biologists. It also offers an interactive Java learning game that entertains while it enhances learning.
