The Living Tradition of Yup'ik Masks
An exhibition of more than 200 masks, Agayuliyararput is the first major exhibition of Yup'ik Eskimo material planned by Alaska Native people in collaboration with the museum community. The masks are presented in the context of the of the dances, stories and complex cosmology of the Yup'ik people who created them.

Looking Both Ways: Heritage and Identity of the Alutiiq People.
This upcoming exhibit about the native Alutiiq people of Alaska will open at the Alutiiq Museum in Kodiak, Alaska early 2000. It will feature the Smithsonian's Fisher Ethnographic Collection and Alutiiq dance.
