Special Reports
2005 marks the hundredth anniversary of Albert Einstein's "Miracle Year": the year in which he wrote four seminal papers that became the foundation of modern physics, and changed forever the way we see the universe. This year, this centennial celebration is being internationally recognized as the World Year of Physics 2005.
S2N Media is proud to have provided design, programming, and implementation for the "World Year of Physics 2005: A Special Report" web site for the National Science Foundation. We coordinated with internal NSF personnel, who provided science writing and video simulations of Einstein's concepts, and integrated stand-alone multimedia modules from NSF science illustrators as well as programming our own modules into a dynamic, exciting Flash presentation. The resulting site has been nominated for an award from the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), as well as a Pirelli Award.
